Is there anything Sonos can’t stream? Amazon Prime just joined the list

That's another million tracks to add to your playlist

Let’s face it, when you think multi-room music streaming, you think Sonos. The two go hand-in-hand, and it’s not just because Sonos speakers sound great.

They’ve also got the biggest selection of music streaming services – a list that grew by one this morning.

Amazon is the latest to sign up, bringing Prime Music to Sonos for the first time. With over a million tracks and hundreds of playlists, your digital jukebox just got that little bit bigger.

In case you weren’t already signed up for Amazon Prime, it’s still one of the best deals in tech. You get free one-day delivery from Amazon online, Prime Video for on-demand movies and TV, and of course Prime Music streaming.

It’s looking increasingly likely that you’ll need to be a Prime member to buy certain games through Amazon, too.

Not got on the Sonos bandwagon yet? Amazon has got you covered. It’s giving away a PLAY:1 speaker every date from Friday 29th April to Thursday 5th May.

You’ll need to be a Prime member, but then you just have to stream Amazon’s selected Prime Music playlists to be in with a chance of winning.

Amazon’s kicking off the launch with a house party at Sonos’ London Studio, with tickets up for grabs through the @AmazonMusicUK Twitter account. It’ll be worth entering if you’re a UK Garage nut – original Artful Dodger member Mark Hill will be behind the decks.

For everyone else, Prime Music should be streaming to Sonos speakers right now.
