Courts Singapore got some of its facts wrong when it accidentally and prematurely disclosed on its website that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S will be available on either 9 July or 16 July. Or maybe that’s what was initially agreed upon and Samsung changed it up to keep us guessing.
Its pricing details were a little off too, although they provided a rough gauge of what the range could be costing. Samsung’s come out to officially disclose details of the range, which can be purchased from all local telcos, selected electronics stores, as well as Samsung Experience stores.
You can get the tablets from 12 July, with prices starting from S$598 (for the 8.4in, 16GB Wi-Fi unit) instead of S$698 that Courts Singapore claimed. The prices differ according to screen size and configurations. You also have a choice between two colours – Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White.
Accessories complement the tablets
The South Korean multi-national electronics vendor also took the opportunity to disclose pricing details of some of its accessory assortment.
Book covers for the Galaxy Tab S cost from S$78, and you’ve got a tough choice since you’ve got to pick from six colours (white, titanium bronze, black, blue, red, and ivory). Samsung’s currently offering a deal, where it’s packaging a free Book Cover with any purchase of the Galaxy Tab S – but you have to be quick, because it’s only while stocks last.
The Bluetooth Keyboard for the Galaxy Tab S is slightly pricier, costing from S$158, in two colour options, Titanium Bronze and Dazzling White. The accessories will be available by the end of July.
