Firstly, the G3 is rumoured to be fitted with a 1440 x 2560 (Quad HD or QHD) pixel IPS screen. The size of the panel is still uncertain at this point of time, but we may see something similar to the G2 – around 5.5 inches. It will also feature a 16 megapixel camera at the back, and something first from LG – an in-house developed processor codenamed LG Odin. No other info has been discovered for this chip, so stay tuned for more information soon.
While this may be the first QHD phone coming to the market, Samsung is also in talks of releasing a phone with a 2K display in the near future. Now, where will the phones land first? Singapore or Malaysia? Let the bets begin!
