This is our best look at the HTC One M10 to date

Another leaked photo, this time with proper lighting

We’re gearing up for MWC 2016 in Barcelona next week, and Samsung and LG are both on hand to show off their next flagship phones – but HTC is reportedly holding off to do its own thing a few weeks later.

Luckily, leakers have been filling in the gap in recent weeks, sharing photos and specs of what appears to be the HTC One M10 (reportedly codenamed “Perfume”). And if the pictures are any indication, the M10 will follow HTC’s One A9 as another strongly iPhone-esque Android phone, almost like an earlier Samsung Galaxy S.

Here is our best look yet at the purported device, which comes from frequent leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks). Earlier this month, he shared a much darker photo of a black version that was largely the same in design, but there are small differences here: the top receiver slot looks slimmer on this model, while the button is shorter and wider, just like the One A9’s. (Also, the display seems to have been blurred after the fact, which is why it looks a little off-center there.)

Blass didn’t have much more to share than the photo today, tweeting, "Let’s call it the HTC One M10 in white." But he’s already delivered quite a bit of info on the handset, claiming that it will have a Quad HD 5.1in AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 chip with 4GB RAM, 32GB storage with a microSD slot, and a 12-UltraPixel back camera.

Another report from earlier this month suggested that HTC will debut the device on 11 April, with a release then pegged during the week of 9 May in the United States – and probably around that time elsewhere, too. We’ll have to see whether HTC fans warm up to another iPhone-alike after a couple of strongly distinctive M models.
