Oh look, it’s the HTC One (M9) again

And it's blinged up to 11

At this rate, it looks like we’re set for a HTC One (M9) leak at least three times a week leading up to its launch, and the latest alleged shot of the device shows it off strutting around in gold.

The shots, obtained by French site Nowhereelse.fr, show off a device that clearly has M8 DNA running through its veins, but with some noticeable differences.

While the corners remain round, the overall shaped of the phone has a squarer feel to it. More obvious than that however, is the single rear camera.

For starters, there’s only one lens, which suggests that HTC has done away with the 4MP UltraPixel camera from the One M8, and ditched the second depth-perception camera too.

Previous rumours have suggested that the UltraPixel lens has moved round to the front of the device, where its low-light performance will result in improved selfies. The rear camera lens itself also seems to be larger, and is surrounded by a square enclosure, compared to the M8’s circular one.

While the shots appear genuine enough, and support speculation of a device which sports a revamped design, we’re still taking everything with a healthy dose of salt until HTC officially reveals everything on 1 March in Barcelona.
