Lenovo ThinkPad 10 Windows tablet leaked… by Lenovo

10in slate displayed on Lenovo’s Australian site ahead of official launch

Lenovo has a new 10in tablet coming out – and has “leaked” it on its own site ahead of any official announcement.

The Windows 8.1-equipped ThinkPad 10 appeared on Lenovo’s Australian site over the weekend, described as a “business-ready” model delivering a “full PC experience” and listed as “coming soon”.

Cheaper than a Surface

No price is mentioned as yet, but there’s a handful of specifications: a 1920 x 1200 resolution on the 10.1in screen; a 1.6GHz quad-core Intel Atom CPU; up to 128GB of storage; an 8MP rear camera; and a 2MP front-facing camera. There’ll be a 4G LTE option, too.

It’s compatible with a range of accessories including a keyboard, a tablet dock and a Digitizer Pen stylus.

We’re expecting the announcement of a European release date and pricing soon, so stay tuned. We’d bet big that it’s signficantly cheaper than a Microsoft Surface.
