Behold, this is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The date to note has finally arrived. Yes, we’re talking about the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the South Korean multinational electronics company has finally removed the wraps off its phablet at the IFA 2014 event in Berlin.

The unit is the same size as its predecessor – 5.7in, but it’s a one up in terms of screen resolution; that has been increased to QHD (2560 x 1440 pixels). This pushes its pixel density up from 386ppi to 515ppi. Its display is also made from Super AMOLED, 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3.

The phablet will come in two different variations – one will have a one with Snapdragon 805 chipset while the other, an Exynos 5433 chipset. Obviously, the type of processor that will be available might vary across the countries.

It will also be powered by Android 4.4 KitKat, together with the new TouchWiz features the company rolled out since the Galaxy S5 launch, and will boast a 3GB RAM. Looks like the rumours were pretty accurate with their leaks.
