Just a day ago we shared with you image leaks of the PadFone Mini. Now it’s been officially launched in Taiwan.
The tinier follow-up to the current PadFone Infinity, the PadFone Mini sees the smartphone portion shrunk down to a 4.3-inch screen from a 5-incher, and the tablet dock shrunk to a good 7-inches from a 10-inch.
Getting shot by a shrink ray isn’t the only thing the PadFone Mini offers. It’s kitted out with some pretty decent specs as well, including a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon MSM8226 processor with 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage. The smartphone's screen has a 960 x 540 resolution while the tablet has a 1,280 x 800 resolution, and it’ll also be running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. As for battery capacity, the phone comes with a 1500mAH battery and the tablet 2200mAH.
The price for the PadFone Mini is NT$11,990 (S$503) and Singapore will be one of the countries that'll it'll be launched in. So stay tuned for the local launch and we'll update this space as soon as it happens.
