We’ve seen tiny PCs before but this reference design from AMD just takes the cake. It fits in the palm of your hand, yet still manages to pack enough power to run Windows 8.1 and even a game of FIFA 14 at 1080p.
Utilising AMD’s Mullins chip, this nano PC also manages to pack in a camera, a 256GB SSD, Bluetooth, WiFi and a DockPort connector. And all of these fit into a design that’s not much bigger than a phablet. Talk about stuffing things in.
It’s a remarkable feat of engineering and hopefully a company or two will pick up this reference design. Who knows, maybe they might even be able to cram enough in there to run Steam OS.
