Future Music Festival Asia
13-15 March 2014 | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
The Asian edition of the Australian-born music festival has been taking place in Kuala Lumpur since 2012, and is growing bigger every year, with the 2014 edition being held over three days.
Line-up: While it’s primarily a dance music festival, it's also hosted international pop acts like Rita Ora and Psy. This year, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Deadmau5, and Pharrell are headlining.
Damage: Prices start from RM248 (S$96) for single-day tickets and go up to RM588 (S$227) for three-day VIP access.

A State of Trance 650
14 March | Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and 15 March | Jakarta, Indonesia
As the name implies, this trance music festival originates from renowned trance DJ Armin van Buuren’s weekly radio show. He then takes the tour around the world live with guest DJs.
Line-up: Predictably, Armin van Buuren headlines, with Paul van Dyk and Andrew Rayel supporting amongst different in Malaysia and Indonesia.
Damage: Rp 500,000 (S$56) for presale tickets in Indonesia and RM248 (S$96) in Malaysia.
12-14 June 2014 | Tokyo, Japan
Created in Barcelona in 1994, the festival doesn’t just celebrate electronic dance music, it celebrates art and technology through showcases and concerts too.
Line-up: The details for this year haven't been announced yet, but previous years have included Mount Kimbie, Battles, and Darren Price.
Damage: Last year’s single day tickets started from ¥7750 (S$96) and ¥14,500 (S$179) for two-day tickets. It shouldn't change that much from year to year.
