The Moto X has been the subject of many a rumour story of late – a sure sign its release is imminent.
And now it’s been confirmed with an official invite for an event in New York on August 1st. From the invite we’ve deduced the Moto X looks similar to a Nokia Lumia of some ilk, features a centered headphone socket or IR blaster, and will make us happier and surround us with trendy friendies.
Other than those details specs are rumour based and of the usual high-powered variety. That means an 8-core processor for plenty of power and top battery performance, a 10MP camera, and hopefully a low price tag of US$300.
Check back for full details on launch day.
