It wasn’t exactly the best kept secret from HTC but their 6 inch (actually 5.9 inches to be exact) phablet, the HTC One Max, still made some impressions. Now we in Singapore can enjoy its big screen come November 2nd.
Over the last few months we’ve covered the various rumours, leaks and finally the international launch of the HTC One Max but just to give you a refresher, you can expect some speedy performance from this giant courtesy of its 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. There’s 16GB of storage and a 3300mAh juicepack, which ought to keep it lasting the whole day. And yes, it also comes with a fingerprint scanner.
HTC didn’t just release the HTC One Max on its own though. They're also dropping a few accessories to support the phablet.
Meet the HTC Fetch Tag ($39), an NFC key chain that'll come in handy for those of you who are constantly losing your keys. There's also the HTC Boom Bass ($149), a small bass speaker that accentuates the HTC One Max’s own speaker by adding in bass sounds and the HTC Power Jacket ($109), a case with a built 1200mAh battery that’ll give the HTC One Max that extra battery boost. To round off the lineup, there's the HTC Mini + ($128), a small supporting remote control device that can also double up as a mini phone for your phone... yes we do know that sounded ridiculous.
The HTC One Max will be available at $1029 in Glacial Silver at launch from authorized resellers, as well as the major telcos; M1, Starhub and Singtel. A Stealth Black version of the phablet will also be made available at a later date.
