HP’s new Pavilion and Envy notebook range combine performance with style

You can't beat the Beats out of the notebook range made for audiophiles

HP has revealed the latest additions to its Pavilion and Envy range, which aim to provide you with trendy notebooks that don’t falter on performance.

Although HP has been on a revenue nosedive, you shouldn’t rule it out as an option especially when its new range sits on par with other vendors’ laptops. Here’s why.

The HP Pavillion Notebook PC 14 and 15 has all the benefits of a desktop packed into a sleek and stylish notebook body. And by stylish, we mean that the range comes in a variety of colour options – Vibrant Red, Aqua Blue, Natural Silver, and Snow White – which makes it perfect for men or women of any age. And that bright neon-coloured soft-touch coating? That'll attract attention, though we aren't sure if you'll get looks of approval or disgust.

Both variants are powered by 4th generation Intel Core processor for greater speed and performance and features a crisp, clear HD display.

But what’ll make you fall in love with the notebooks is its audio quality, because HP has once again partnered with Beats Audio to provide its headsets with the laptop range (audiophiles rejoice). Or, you can just enjoy the beats with the laptop's dual speakers.

What about the HP Envy 15 Notebook PC?

As for the HP Envy 15 Notebook PC, its Full HD touchscreen display is crafted for the Windows 8.1 touch experience. Trying its hand at making the user experience as comfortable as possible, it has also included the HP Control Zone trackpad optimised for Windows 8.1. And that’s not all – its drive can hold up to 1TB of music, videos, and photos.

The newly launched collection will be available by the end of May, with the HP Pavilion Notebook PC 14 and 15 costing from S$1099 and S$949 respectively. The Pavilion 14 is also available in a Touchsmart version, with a 4th generation Intel Core i5 processor powering it and priced at S$999. The HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC has a starting price of S$1399.
