Sony's rumoured Honami superphone just got a name – and a face.
According to Twitter user @doomlord_xda – a longtime user of the XDA-Developers forum who's leaked Sony Xperia details in the past – the Honami could be called the Xperia Z1. However, previous rumours have suggested that it'll be called the Xperia i1 Honami.
Whatever it's called, the phone itself has also appeared in a series of leaked press images (albeit very low resolution ones).
The phone's reported spec list includes a 5in, 1080p display, 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory (expandable via microSD) and a 3000mAh battery, plus the by-now-standard Xperia NFC connectivity and water and dust resistance.
But the standout feature of the Honami is its 20.7 MP camera with Xenon and LED flash – reportedly capable of shooting 4K video. Not surprising, given that Sony is pushing 4K video in a big way, with its media streamer, 4K TVs and PS4.
