Leaked Google Nexus 5 video shows off Android 4.4 KitKat

Google's latest Nexus phone hits the town and gets snapped by paps

Google can't seem to keep a lid on the Nexus 5.

Following its accidental appearance at the unveiling of Google's latest version of Android, the big G's latest Android flagship was snapped by an enterprising 9to5google.com reader after being left unattended in a bar. Stage-managed leak or genuine mistake? Whatever the case, it's given us a good look at the Nexus 5 running Google's latest iteration of Android, version 4.4 KitKat.

Leaked specs

According to a leaked FCC document, the LG-built Google Nexus 5 comes packing a 4.96in screen together with a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 2300mAh battery. And, naturally, Android 4.4 KitKat.

We'll be bringing you more info as we have it, but for the time being, prepare yourself for the next version of Android by munching on a KitKat. We like biting the ends off and using it as a straw for our tea.
