Feel-Good Monday: Tyrannosaurus cat will melt your cold, frigid heart

This feline's triumph over disability will make you feel less crappy about your Monday

Meet Mercury, a cat that was found missing his two front legs at the tender age of five weeks old.

His limbs were unfortunately too damaged to accomodate prothestics, but it's not like he needed them. Instead, he developed the ability to walk on just his two hind legs, in a manner that just happens to make it look cuter than other four-legged tabbies. For more adorable Mercury media, his people have set up a page chronicling his bipedal adventures.

Mercury isn’t the first of the furry kind to adapt to two-legged life. Faith the dog is another famous example. If you're moved to contribute in a greater way, Three Legs Good is a Singapore-registered animal welfare group that does its bit for disabled dogs.
