The Audi Fashion Festival is just around the corner. To celebrate it rolling into town and dabbing the city with a temporary spot of glamour, we take a look at the top three fashion and tech collaborations of our time.
3. LG x Prada
Slathered in Prada’s trademark textured pattern from its Saffiano leather, the LG Prada Phone 3.0 is an elegant 4.3 inches of glass and metal. The Prada branded earphones are a nice touch for those who like to keep their music classy.
While version 3.0 isn't much to crow about with its middling specs, the first LG Prada phone broke new ground as the first mobile phone to pack a capacitive touchscreen.
More after the break...
2. Alexander Wang x Beats
American designer Alexander Wang teamed up with the eargear maker to slap his brand of cool onto the Beats Studio headphones. The matte black headphones glimmer with gold accents, and come with adaptive noise cancelling as well as a 20-hour rechargeable battery. Music has never looked as good, nor has a fashion trend lasted as long.
He also glossed up the Pill and urBeats earbuds with his golden designer touch.
1. Leica x Hermès
We saved the best for last. Crafted to celebrate the friendship of Jean-Louis Dumas (former president of Hermès who was never seen without his Leica) and the German camera company, the Hermès Leica M9-P is an imaging force to reckon with wrapped in supple calfskin leather. Watch how it’s lovingly crafted, and weep for you'll probably never be able to afford its US$25,000 (S$31,245) price tag.
