Looking to buy a good action cam to chronicle your active lifestyle? Can't find someone to sit on your shoulders with a camcorder while performing your best stunts? Unable to perform stunts with someone sitting on you in the first place? We've got the solution for you.
A literal head-to-head test
We took the term "head-to-head test" a little literally when reviewing the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition and Sony HDR-AS30V, by rigging both of them onto a helmet as we went karting.
While it may have looked completely ridiculous, it did enable us to test both cameras simultaneously in a perfectly identical manner. The result is the two videos you see below. Which one's better? Well, seeing is believing, so watch and make your own judgement. For everything else, we've got the full comparison in the upcoming February issue of Stuff Singapore, which will be out in newsstands from 16 January.
