Samsung set to launch a curved phone

It's not enough to make smartphones bigger these days, so Samsung's adding a third dimension to its screens

While Samsung's just released the much-hyped Note 3, it's already working on its next It-phone.

What's so special about it? A curved display which will arrive anytime between next month and Q4.

Samsung showed off a 5.5-inch prototype device named 'Youm' at CES in January. Park Sang-jin, CEO of Samsung SDI, says the upcoming device will use a similar OLED panel and will supposedly not be 'that flexible'. Does that mean it will be made of shiny alumnium or must we expect more plastic? We'll keep you updated.
