Rumour Mill – Lenovo IdeaPad tablet preps for summer launch

The ThinkPad gets a flat mate as Lenovo readies its first foray into tabletdom

Lenovo, maker of the fine X1 we saw in May, is gearing up something a bit more fashionable than its sturdy matt black workhorse. Yes, the Chinese computer compnay that used to be called IBM is doing away with keyboards (and its famous red nipples) and breaking out a few tablets. Branded IdeaPads and running Android Honeycomb or Windows 7, the tablets should get a worldwide release in July.
