These Technics are best partnered with turntables and some classic house, so slap on some tunes and prepare to get jiggy.
They're not true hi-fi performers
Technics is a name that’s synonymous with DJ culture, from turntables to mixers to headphones. Unsurprisingly, these closed-back cans look flash, feel comfortable and are flexible enough to allow for single-ear monitoring.
Indeed, they’re fine for the decks but pure hi-fi performance is somewhat substandard for the amount of cash you’re going to part with for looking smart.
If you value style over substance, these are your cans. If not, keep your wallet in your pocket.
