Looking like a snazzy USB key, Sony’s latest flasher is seeking to tread in the footsteps of its respected predecessors. But maybe with firmer steps this time.

Simple Sony seduces
Sony is finally simplifying its controls and decluttering, which makes this player a piece of cake to use. The OLED screen’s small but bright and clear, and it charges ultra-quickly when it’s plugged into a USB port.

The sound of this 2GB player is excellent and, despite a miniature price, it works a treat – battery life is 30-hours – and looks very pretty.
