On top of more sports news than you can shake a football boot at, the Sky Sports iPad app also runs a live feed of the TV channel as well, which will be a big draw for many.
Sky Sports subscribers get the app for free and plenty more goodies, including split-screen viewing (for instance for F1 races), live scores and live tweets for Champions League footie games.
A no-brainer for Sky subscribers then with TV Guide and remote recording skills thrown into the mix and a pretty good bargain otherwise for petrolheads and just about everyone else – it's not surprising the app's has over half a million downloads already.
