You’re paying for a truly state-of-the-art projector, boiled down into a satisfying, manageably sized package. Smaller, lighter and (it’s true) less expensive than the rest of its class, it really is the best performer around. The C3X will make you feel good even before you turn it on.
We could talk about DLP technology or Texas Instruments DC3 chipsets but, essentially, what it comes down to is this: for films or games the SIM2 produces stunning-looking images that go really, really big.
Colour, contrast and motion-tracking are all superb. Combine this with an Xbox 360 and you’ll never leave the house again.
