A heavyweight DAB unit, the Pure Digital Oasis pumps a beefy and solid sound that’s perfect for poolside aural entertainment

The ruggedised Oasis might look like Action Man’s fridge but if you live in a DAB reception area all you need to do is press the ‘on’ button and you’re wired for sound.

With a strong signal, the Oasis locates stations immediately – you’ll have 400 at the ready. It’s also quick to switch channels and the sound through the single speaker is superb with both music and news. It’s a bit on the heavy side but that’s the price you pay for being splashproof.

Not only is it water-resistant, but it also comes with a ChargePak 15-hour rechargeable battery for when you’re away from the mains. It’s a neat little fridge-alike DAB, and we like it.
