Whenever you find an interesting link online, send it to Pocket (a free app formerly known as Read It Later) and it'll be saved offline to be ... read later. Just make sure you've got plenty of time set aside for catching up.
One of our favourite cloud apps this year, Pocket works across multiple web browsers and smartphone/tablet platforms letting you peruse saved articles, web pages and videos with lots more style than its closest rival Instapaper. Did we say essential? No. Well it is.
