Humax has been building digiboxes since 1997 so the natural next step was to make its own displays but with built-in digital tuners. Dinky dimensions make the 17in widescreen Humax LCD the ideal kitchen telly and the presence of both Scart and PC inputs means you can movie or game, while the chicken roasts.
Analogue pictures won’t make you shake your shallots with joy but reception via the digital tuner is a whole lot tastier. Images are smooth and colourful and, even with sports programmes, hold together pretty well. DVD pictures are even better and colourful flicks, such as Blade II, look bloody great.
