Olympus plans 75th-anniversary lens for PEN

75 years since the first Zuiko lens appeared, Olympus is planning something special

Owners of Micro Four Thirds cameras should get suitably excited. (Little less than a woohoo, but more than a hell-yeah.)

75 years after Olympus first fitted their famous Zuiko optics on a camera – the Semi-Olympus I, in case you cared – the Japanese camera-meister is planning a special-edition lens for the PEN series.

These mock-ups show the new M.Zuiko Digital lens looking lovely on an Olympus PEN E-P2, but we're being kept in the dark(room) over the details.

We'll be hoping for a super-fast 25mm to compete with the Voigtlander 25mm f0.95. But cheaper.
