The 4.5in, HD, 326ppi screen is the real selling point over its fuzzier-screened rivals; it matches the much pricier <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/htc/htc-one-mini-2-hands/review">HTC One Mini 2</a>&nbsp;on this front. Next to most other phones in its class it looks pin-sharp, with vivid but natural colours and good contrast.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s not without problems - the 5MP camera does still disappoint sometimes, especially in low light, and you only get 8GB of built-in storage. It&rsquo;s just a shame that 4.8in screen isn&rsquo;t very sharp at 229ppi and suffers from poor viewing angles. Because otherwise you get a ton of Sony for your money here.</p> <p>Its blocky plastic design, available in purple, white and black, is based on the high-end <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/android/samsung-galaxy-s5-vs-htc-one-m8-vs-sony-xperia-z2/feature/1-sony-xperia-z2">Xperia Z2</a>. There&rsquo;s no waterproofing as you&#39;d find on that premium Xperia, but for &pound;150 PAYG, we&rsquo;re not complaining.</p> <p>Performance is much better than previous mid-range Sony phones we&rsquo;ve encountered thanks to a Snapdragon 400 processor which powers every handset on this test bar the Moto E and HTC Desire 301. Battery life is pretty good, too, matching the Moto G 4G. Plus Sony has thrown in extras you won&rsquo;t find on other budget blowers such as small apps, Stamina mode for the battery and a pulsing notification light to stretch to over a day of use.</p> <p>Its more than decent 8MP camera is the highlight, though. AF can be a little sluggish but it&rsquo;s easy to use, with Sony&rsquo;s quick Superior Auto mode plus lots of settings to dig into and reliably good 1080p video. It doesn&rsquo;t get close to the top smartphones for picture quality, but it&rsquo;s the best all-round snapper of all the cheap phones we&rsquo;ve tested.</p> <p>If Sony had stuck a higher res screen on the M2 and added support for 4G, this would be more of a rival for the Moto. As it is, it falls just short.</p> <p><strong>Stuff says</strong>:&nbsp;<strong>✭✭✭✭✩</strong><br />Fine features and the best choice for shutterbugs, only the screen lets the M2 down</p> <p><strong>UPDATE</strong>: Sony has just announced the M2 Aqua with identical specs to the M2 plus IP65/68 waterproofing and dustproofing, higher even than the Xperia Z2 and probably what we can expect from the Xperia Z3. Maybe HTC should&#39;ve worried about getting the basics right rather than lavishing software treats on us?</p> <p><strong>Stuff says</strong>:&nbsp;<strong>✭✭✭</strong><strong>✩</strong><strong>✩</strong><br />Nice looking and packed with features but the Desire 310 doesn&rsquo;t nail the essentials well enough&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="It&#039;s like a small One (M8) - if you squint " alt="Best cheap smartphone 2014 test " src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/htc-310-review.jpg?1409154821" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-box-out-title"> <div class="field-label">Box Out Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> HTC Desire 310 tech specs </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-box-out-body-text"> <div class="field-label">Box Out Body Text:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p><strong>Screen</strong>: 4.5in 480x854 (218 ppi)<br /><strong>Power</strong>: 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek/512MB RAM<br /><strong>Camera</strong>: 5MP 1080p rear, VGA front<br /><strong>Battery</strong>: 2000 mAh<br /><strong>Connectivity</strong>: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0<br /><strong>Storage</strong>: 4GB (microSD up to 32GB)<br /><strong>Dimensions</strong>: 131 x 65.3 x 7.85mm/ 140g</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-8"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Vodafone Smart 4 Turbo (£135) </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The 4.5in Smart 4 Turbo doesn&rsquo;t live up to its tantalising promise: a quad-core, 4G, KitKat budget phone for less than &pound;150. The Lumia Icon, exclusive to the Verizon network in the US, shares most of its DNA with the Lumia 930, but there are a number of key differences &ndash; and we felt that warranted giving the latter its own full review.</p> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-pricing"><legend>Pricing</legend><div class="field field-type-number-float field-field-test-price"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> £420.00 </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-price-from"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> 0 </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="fieldgroup group-ratings"><legend>Ratings</legend><div class="field field-type-hcmreviewrating-rating field-field-overall-rating"> <div class="field-label">Overall rating:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="hcmrating-default">8 stars</div> </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-pros"> <div class="field-label">Pros:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Superb PureView camera </div> <div class="field-item even"> Beautiful OLED screen </div> <div class="field-item odd"> Super solid build </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-cons"> <div class="field-label">Cons:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Windows Phone still app-deficient </div> </div> </div> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>Review Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Orange is the new back </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The Lumia 930 couldn&rsquo;t be described as skinny or small. It&rsquo;s almost a centimetre thick and the 5in screen, even with a fairly narrow bezel, makes it a long, wide handset. But, despite the use of Gorilla Glass 3 and the metal-edged build, it&rsquo;s not a heavy phone &ndash; and we found it sat quite comfortably in a trouser pocket.</p> <p>The build quality befits the phone&rsquo;s high-end status. Nokia has always enjoyed a reputation for solidly made gear and that&rsquo;s certainly the case here: there&rsquo;s nothing wobbly or creaky in evidence. Nor does the matte plastic back look or feel cheap &ndash; it&rsquo;s a level or two above the plastic you&rsquo;d find on the back of certain Korean-designed smartphones. The curved edges of the glass front panel also make for a lovely premium touch.</p> <p>There are three hardware controls on the right-hand metal edge (the nano SIM tray and 3.5mm headphone socket are located on the top edge): a power button; a volume rocker; and a dedicated camera shutter button (more on that below). There&rsquo;s a microUSB port on the bottom edge but, thanks to the wireless charging plate included in the Lumia 930&rsquo;s box, you&rsquo;ll rarely need to make use of that.</p> <p>The Day-Glo orange finish of our review sample is certainly&hellip; eye-catching, and some might feel happier with one of the two more sober colour options: white or black. Oh, and orange isn&rsquo;t the only wacky colour available: there&rsquo;s fluorescent green too, if you&#39;re feeling particularly brave.</p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="If you don&#039;t like orange, black or white finishes are available" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-hand-rear.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="900" title="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-hand-front.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-3"> <div class="field-label">Image #3:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_3" width="1200" height="900" title="The Lumia 930 couldn&#039;t be described as skinny" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-hand-side.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-1"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Dream screen </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The 5in, 1920 x 1080 OLED screen is one of the Lumia 930&rsquo;s best features, just as it was on the Lumia Icon. A 1080p resolution may not match the sheer pixel count of a 2K display such as that of the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/g3/lg-g3/review">LG G3</a>, but it&rsquo;s still extremely sharp: the pixel density of 441ppi is still above that offered by leading phones such as the <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/apple/iphone-5s/review">Apple iPhone 5s</a> (326ppi), <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5/review">Samsung Galaxy S5</a> (432ppi) or <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/sony/sony-xperia-z2/review">Sony Xperia Z2</a> (424ppi).</p> <p>It&rsquo;s not just showing detail at which the Lumia 930&rsquo;s screen excels: it&rsquo;s also rich and vibrant when it comes to colour and contrast, bright enough to view outdoors on sunny days (albeit fairly shiny and reflective) and its wide viewing angles mean it stays vivid even when you&rsquo;re viewing off-centre.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s a great all-purpose screen, although its 16:9 ratio makes it particularly suited to displaying video. That said, it seemed totally at ease with whatever apps and games we chucked at it, and it&rsquo;s the beefiest Windows Phone currently on sale (bar the equally-specced <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/lumia-1520/nokia-lumia-1520/review">Lumia 1520</a>, which is more of a phablet thanks to its 6in screen).</p> <p>Nokia has been making Lumia phones compatible with wireless charging for a while now, but customers have been required to pay extra for a charging plate. That&rsquo;s no longer the case, and the 930 comes with one in the box. A nice touch, and one that&rsquo;ll ensure buyers make the most of the phone&rsquo;s fuss-free charging capabilities.</p> <p>The 2420mAh battery feels just about adequate for purpose. If you&#39;re watching a lot of video, surfing the web often or taking loads of photos, you&#39;ll find it may not last an entire day &ndash; but less intensive use should see it stretch into a second one.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/lumia-1520/nokia-lumia-1520/review">Nokia Lumia 1520 review</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="The phone isn&#039;t top-tier powerful, but impresses on AnTuTu all the same" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-benchmark.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="900" title="Nokia has wisely packaged a wireless charger with the Lumia 930" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-wireless-charger.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-box-out-title"> <div class="field-label">Box Out Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Nokia Lumia 930 tech specs </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-box-out-body-text"> <div class="field-label">Box Out Body Text:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p><strong>Operating system:</strong> <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/microsoft/windows-phone-81/review">Windows Phone 8.1</a></p> <p><strong>Processor:</strong> Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 @ 2.2GHz</p> <p><strong>RAM:</strong> 2GB

Both video and stills have superb clarity and colour, it&rsquo;s more than adequate in low light, and Nokia&rsquo;s &ldquo;Living Images&rdquo; feature is a nice touch: it plays a second or two of video before displaying stills, giving you an impression of a moment in time being captured. The large sensor and wide aperture also enable you to achieve a narrow depth of field in certain instances &ndash; and that can always make for lovely looking photos.</p> <p>The only issue we have is the lack of HDR in the default camera. As you can see in our shot from the hilltop, this can lead to washed-out areas (in this case, the sky) where there&#39;s high contrast in a scene.</p> <p>The default camera app, Nokia Camera, allows you to manually tweak a number of settings (white balance, exposure compensation, shutter speed, flash, ISO and focus) and this, coupled with the hardware shutter button (which you can half-press to focus) makes the Lumia 930 very photographer friendly.</p> <p>Video, meanwhile, can be captured at 1080p quality in 30fps, 25fps or 24fps, and looks lovely when played back. There are four microphones, allowing you to record in surround sound, and Nokia has included a bass filter that lets you cut out low-frequency audio that could distort voices and other higher frequency sounds.</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/stuffs-guide-photography-what-bokeh-and-how-do-i-get-it/feature">Stuff&#39;s Guide to Photography: What is bokeh &ndash; and how do I get it?</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="The Lumia 930&#039;s PureView camera is a highlight" alt="The Lumia 930&#039;s PureView camera is a highlight" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/nokia-lumia-930-camera.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-2"> <div class="field-label">Image #2:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_2" width="1200" height="896" title="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/photo-sample-hillside.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-3"> <div class="field-label">Image #3:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_3" width="1200" height="896" title="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/photo-sample-maneki.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image-4"> <div class="field-label">Image #4:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image_4" width="1200" height="896" title="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" alt="Review: Nokia Lumia 930" src="http://images.cdn.stuff.tv/sites/stuff.tv/files/photo-sample-street.jpg?1407425095" /> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-4"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Windows Phone gets better </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The Lumia Icon came with Windows Phone 8, but the Lumia 930 offers the 8.1 edition of Microsoft&rsquo;s OS. And for those who weren&rsquo;t lucky enough to attend last week, you can now watch the nearly 30-minute gameplay demo above, thanks to a livestream event held yesterday.</p> <p>The Phantom Pain offers up a huge open world experience, with the environment slated to be 200x larger than that of this past spring&rsquo;s compact prequel, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. It&rsquo;s a pretty amazing demo, and one that helps show how Konami is getting around the issues that an open setting provide to a stealth experience.</p> <p>Otherwise, in typical series fashion, there&rsquo;s plenty of action, melodrama, and humor found within the half-hour guided demo&mdash;which is running on a PlayStation 4 and happens to look pretty amazing. No current release date has been announced, but The Phantom Pain is also in the works for Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.</p> <p>[Source: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tto6n_AHdBM">IGN</a>]</p> <p><strong>READ MORE: <a href="http://www.stuff.tv/electronic-arts/e3-2014-biggest-video-game-news-so-far/feature">E3 2014 &mdash; all of the biggest news</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="video-wrapper youtube-player-wrapper"> <iframe width="640" height="385" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Tto6n_AHdBM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> </div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-make-full-width"> <div class="field-label">Make full width:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Do not make full width </div> </div> </div> </fieldset> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-1"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> BlackBerry is releasing a square-screened phablet </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>Bet you didn&rsquo;t see this one coming. And if you need to pull up something that&rsquo;s not shown, you can simply draw the first letter of the word or name and a list will appear.</p> <p>In its pre-beta state, the Z Launcher has only been tested on a handful of phones, such as the Galaxy S3/4/5, as well as the Nexus 5 running Android 4.1+, and tablet use isn&rsquo;t recommended as of now. So perhaps it&rsquo;s not quite ready for primetime, but even so, it already looks like a really helpful and attractive choice. All of these help elevate WinPho to Android levels of practicality and customisation.</p> <p>OK, so these features have been in Android for years. A 4.5in display seems to be the sweet spot for 2014 - the Moto G and HTC One Mini 2 are also this size. But while this one&rsquo;s good, it&#39;s not the best for the money.&nbsp;</p> <p>Like the 520, it&rsquo;s got plenty of punch, displaying colours which are a little on the warmer side of the palette and serving up very good viewing angles for a budget phone. Sadly, Nokia didn&rsquo;t increase the number of pixels by much when it upped the screen size from 4in to 4.5in, so we&rsquo;re stuck with a 854 x 480 resolution.</p> <p>It&rsquo;s not a deal-breaker for video, as the picture&#39;s pleasant enough anyway. But pixels are clearly visible when you&#39;re looking at text. Then again, we&rsquo;ve spent the past few months staring at 1080p screens, and we doubt that&#39;s the case for most 630 buyers.&nbsp;</p> <p>Still, with the&nbsp;the slightly higher res EE Kestrel and&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/motorola/motorola-moto-g/review">720p Moto G</a>&nbsp;displaying cleaner fonts, it&rsquo;s a problem for the 221ppi Lumia. Launched at Microsoft&#39;s BUILD conference in San Francisco, the Nokia Lumia 930 is an Icon by another name, and it looks every bit as good as the original.</p> <div class="field field-type-userreference field-field-byline"> <div class="field-label">Byline:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <a href="/users/will-findlater" title="View user profile.">Will Findlater</a> </div> </div> </div> <fieldset class="content-multigroup-group-sections"><legend>News Section</legend><fieldset class="content-multigroup-wrapper content-multigroup-0"><div class="field field-type-number-integer field-field-section-paginate"> <div class="field-label">Paginate on this section:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Don't paginate </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-title"> <div class="field-label">Title:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Windows Phone 8.1 on Android-rivalling hardware </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-text field-field-body"> <div class="field-label">Body:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <p>The Lumia 930 will be one of the first handsets available that runs Windows Phone 8.1, Cortana voice control, customisable Live Tile wallpaper and all.</p> <p>And it should run speedily. Inside the handset is a 2.2GHz, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, which is only slightly outclassed by the Snapdragon 801s and 805s you&#39;ll find inside the&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/htc/htc-one-2/review" target="_blank">HTC One (M8)</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/galaxy-s5/samsung-galaxy-s5/review" target="_blank">Samsung Galaxy S5</a>. It&#39;s backed up by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of (sadly non-expandable) storage.</p> <p>The 930&#39;s screen is a 5-inch, 1080p LCD with a resolution of 441ppi - only the 2K screen-equipped&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/find-7/oppo-find-7/review" target="_blank">Oppo Find 7&nbsp;</a>tops it for now. It&#39;s covered with Gorilla Glass 3 and reportedly works even if you have gloves on. Inside is a 2420mAh battery, which is compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard.</p> <p>As with many Lumias, a point of difference for the 930 is its 20MP PureView camera. It&#39;s equipped with Zeiss optics and optical image stabilisation (rather than the inferior electronic kind) to alleviate hand shake. Unlike most Lumias, the 930 has a solid aluminium frame sandwiched by two colourful slabs of polycarbonate. We weren&#39;t completely taken with this styling when we tested the Icon - it&#39;s a chunky beast - but it certainly feels built to last.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>READ MORE:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stuff.tv/microsoft/windows-phone-81/review" target="_blank">Windows Phone 8.1 preview</a></strong></p> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-hcmvideofield-video field-field-brightcove-video"> <div class="field-label">Video ID/URL:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <div class="messages warning">This video is not currently supported.</div> </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-type-filefield field-field-image"> <div class="field-label">Image #1:&nbsp;</div> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <img class="imagefield imagefield-field_image" width="1200" height="900" title="Phew.
