But all that could be about to change.Long rumours of a US price cut have finally been confirmed by Microsoft with $20 about to be shaved off the Core and $50 hacked from the Premium (pictured) and Elite packages by the time our Stateside friends tuck into their pancakes at breakfast tomorrow. It'll mean the top-line model will now cost $450 (£225) compared to the £330 it'll be going on sale for here.There's been no word on any similar cuts for us, but don't fret just yet; rumours are that the bargain gaming wave could be coming to these shores before long.The Leipzig Games Convention – which kicks off on 20 August – would seem like a likely time for an announcement and talk is of a £300 Elite and £230 Premium.
