Wheely good – the Gig pack convertible scooter backpack

We'll be the first in line if this two-wheeled concept ever hits the shelves

Brazilian designer Gustavo Brenck has created an innovative solution for hassle-free short commutes by creating a rather stylish scooter/backpack combo.

The scooter's aluminium frame keeps it light enough to avoid crippling back pain and can support riders up to 90kg, while durable rubber wheels should tear up even the bumpiest of pavements with ease. Once you're done zipping along the high street simply fold it up and hey presto – instant backpack.

Sadly the Gig pack is just a proof-of-concept for the time being, but we're hoping it will hit production at some point in the near future – all this walking is burning up precious calories…
