Since there’s a special bank holiday weekend upon us, we’re predicting rain. And when there’s rain, you want to be parked in front of your TV, watching some ace Blu-rays. Or listening to some tunes. Or doing something else that doesn’t require getting off the couch.
That usually means rummaging for remotes, unless you want to fork out for a shiny touchscreen number like the Logitech Harmony 1100. Nice, but not cheap.
To the rescue, then, comes the iPhone Universal Remote. It forms an IR-broadcasting case around your phone and springs into action once you’ve downloaded the free app.
Pair it up with your existing remotes to teach it to talk to up to 20 devices, then sit back and enjoy a rainy weekend in. Best of all, it costs a mere £40. Bargain. Though we’d prefer a bit of sunshine.
