Whatever you think of the West Bank wall, now's your chance to write on it
Tagging away like a little urban guerilla is all good and well, but a) it's a bit parky out and b) you could get caught and get into serious trouble with the authorities. Palestine has a big wall round it that's just crying out for some graffiti, and now, thanks to sendamessage there are plenty of willing artists ready to do your bidding.
The idea was dreamt up by a Dutch advertising execs who were working with young, creative Palestinians. For 30 Euros, this group of West Banks-ys will spray your message onto the controversial wall dividing Israel and Palestine, as long as it's not rude or offensive (I particularly like the "free goalposts" that have been added by Bo, 6, from Amsterdam). You will then receive some hi-res images of your commission.
The proceeds go to local community projects (NOT to buy arms of fund any partisan movements) and if you're wondering what the point of all this is, as it says on the website: "They want to send you one single, simple message: We are human beings, just like you, with sense of humour, and lust for life."
