iPhone users could soon be getting a touch of Firefox on their mobiles – but not in the form of the actual web browser. Instead, the Firefox Home app allows desktop Firefox users to sync their history, bookmarks and open tabs with their iPhone’s Safari browser.
The Firefox Home app isn’t a cert just yet, but has been submitted to Apple for approval. Once Cupertino rubberstamps it – and given that it isn’t a competitor but a supplement to Apple’s own native Safari browser, we assume it will – it should be available for free at the App Store before too long.
