Google shuts down Realtime

04 Jul 2011

Google, in an attempt to compete with Facebook and Twitter in the social world of networking has shut down Google Realtime in order to integrate Google+. It’s a rare occasion for Google to shut anything down, so you know they’re taking this very seriously. In fact they ironically Tweeted – just before shutting down – that everyone should follow the Google+ story on Realtime. Getting a bit flustered over at Google Towers there gents?
