Android Ice Cream Sandwich melts all over everything

Just when you thought Android couldn’t get any more confusing, it just has. But wait – come back. It’s also getting easier. Or that’s the theory. Google’s just announced Android Ice Cream Sandwich, a version of the mobile operating system that it hopes will work across phones, tablets and convertible laptops. There’s no mention of it stepping on Chrome OS’s turf, for reasons we expect to become clear in the next 48 hours.
