Sony finally launched a Walkman we could learn to love with its A-Series of Windows Mobile 11-compatible players.
Now it's brought out two more, the 4GB NWZ-A826 and 8GB NWZ-A828. And despite being little bigger than a Nano, the MP3, WMA and AAC crunchers get screens just 0.1in smaller than the iPod Classic's.
Banishing earphone tangles for good, they also sport Bluetooth for wire-free listening through the bundled DR-BT21G cans, or via Bluetooth stereos and head units.
They also boast mammoth battery lives: ten hours for video or a day-and-a-half (that's 36 hours, maths fans) for music – sadly not enough to get through the 8GB model's 1,850-song capacity. And use that Bluetooth feature with care, as it more than doubles the power drain.
They're expected in April, but eager Walkman fans can get their pre-orders in now.
