Roberts lines up eco radios

Pure’s already touting their Evoke Flow as a top notch eco radio, so it’s no surprise to see old school rivals Roberts upping the ante with a string of new green goodies.

The new ‘ecologic’ range starts at £49.99 and gives you everything you’d expect from your common or garden DAB, with presets, FM and a jack for your headphones. They come in three flavours, the 1, 2 and 3. No marks for imaginative names Roberts.

The 1 and 2 have a built in battery charger, giving you top notch green credentials as well as the chance to listen to top British sportsmen choke on 5Live Sports Extra. Quality.

On top of this trio, plans are also afoot for the Gemini 21, with a massive 150 hours of battery life, which Roberts boasts is five times better than your average DAB. It'll hit you for a penny under £70.

Question is, can this environmentally–friendly lot make it into our DAB Top Ten?
