iPad and iPhone all in a Tizi over mobile TV
Fancy watching – and recording – Freeview telly on your iOS device? Of course you do, and now you can, courtesy of Tizi. Dubbed “Europe’s first mobile TV hotspot” this antenna-toting gadget receives digital TV signals which are then transferred to an iPad or iPhone via Wi-Fi. The accompanying app can be used to record programmes on your actual device – and these can either be played back locally or (after being copied over via iTunes) on your computer.Tizi’s battery reportedly delivers 3.5 hours of on-the-go telly, and can be recharged via USB. We've had a quick hands-on with Equinux's telly-on-the-go box and although reception can be a little hard to come by, when you're in range, picture is smooth and it's a cinch to use the on-screen EPG. It's out now for £150.
