Genius comes to Apple TV
Fire up your Apple TV this morning and you'll find Cupertino has slapped on some neat new goodies for you to while away your weekend with. Update 2.2 has landed and it gives Apple's streamer some of the functions you've already played around with on iTunes 8.
As well as music vide playlists, a new standby option and on–th–go playlists, you also get access to the new Genius feature. That means you can work up playlists via your telly, just like you would on the new iPod nano and iPod Touch.
Unlike Touch updates, Apple isn't asking you to shell out for this one, making it a dead cert for download if there's an Apple TV in your front room.
What do you think? Does it make Apple TV a better proposition? Sound off in the comments section and let us know what you think?

Don't you mean Apple is not asking you to shell out?
