Luckily, we live in a cut-throat world of technology where fortune (allegedly) favours the brave. And the brave party striking out into big-screen, goggle-free 3DTVs is Toshiba. The Japanese company promises us Europeans we’ll be laying our naked eyes on its third-dimensional wares somewhere between April this year and March 2012.
Tosh is showing off its 56in and 65in prototypes at CES right now, and we’ll be doing our best to swing by for a first impression. It reckons a combination of LED backlighting, 4k2k resolution panels, its own CEVO processing engine and some bespoke imaging tech will mean wide viewing angles and ace quality picture.
