The Google Nexus One has barely been on sale a week, and already T-Mobile USA has slashed the price for upgraders by $100.
Google is currently offering the handset for $529 (£325) unlocked, or for $179 (£110) when you buy it with a contract with T-Mobile. However, current T-Mobile customers had previously been forced to fork up $379 (£230) to get their mitts on the phone as an upgrade to their current handset – just $150 less than the SIM free version.
Realising this is probably a little unreasonable, T-Mobile has now cut this upgrade price by $100 to $279, and will be refunding $100 back to all previous customers that payed the full whack.
Here's hoping for good deals through Vodafone when the operator gets the handset on these shores in the coming months. There's been no date been set as yet, but we'll be bringing it to you as soon as we hear - but of course you coud always go SIM free direct from Google, should you fancy it.
