Samsung releases Galaxy S3 mini update with NFC
Samsung has announced that it will be releasing an updated version of its Galaxy S3 Mini smartphone with NFC capability - a feature that the original lacked. Check out Stuff's review of the S3 Mini to decide whether you want the NFC variant – it's out at the end of January.
Lovefilm strikes deal with Channel 4
Channel 4 has teamed up with Lovefilm to offer the likes of Peep Show, The Inbetweeners, Father Ted, the IT Crowd and Spaced – helping the Amazon-owned Lovefilm catch up with its rival Netflix's library of Channel 4 shows.

Red and Blue PS3s incoming?
Red and blue are this year's black – if you're looking to buy a PlayStation 3, that is – colour variants for the redesigned PS3 are landing in Japan on February 28th. If you don't fancy forking out for a plane ticket, Office Cat expects to see them arriving on European shores too, with the brightly coloured consoles appearing on Amazon.de for €330.
