Bioshock pinball is Rapture-ous

If you’ve played the Bioshock series and the underwater art deco world of Rapture has you hooked, you’re going to love this real-world pinball machine inspired by the games. Office Cat's particularly taken with the Little Sister and Big Daddy models in this Swedish-made pet project. Just don’t expect your own unless you want to build it.

Motion controlled drill

While drilling screws is as foreign to Office Cat as is pouring his own cream, he can see that this motion controlled hand drill from Black & Decker is very cool indeed. No more pushing of buttons is necessary – a natural twist of the wrist gets you started while a bigger turn adds power up to 180rpm. And with a price tag of just US$40 (£25) it’s hard to see how the humble screwdriver can live much longer.

Phone tossers

Finland’s Mobile Phone Throwing Championships have a new world record after flinging a phone 101.46m – the furthest since the tournament was created in 2000 in order to help the locals vent phone rage. Office Cat prefers to take his anger out on defective mobiles by placing them in his litter tray.
