If you’re not a fan of the default web browser on your Android tablet, never fear: the Firefox app is a worthy alternative, with synced history, bookmarks and passwords across all your devices, support for custom add-ons and supercharged speed.
If you’re an existing Sky Sports subscriber and iPad owner, this app is a no brainer: you can watch live football, F1, cricket and more with bags of extra stats and info to pore over while you do it. You can even remotely set recordings on your Sky+ box.
If the idea of photo editing on a tablet seems ludicrous, five minutes with iPhoto will convince you otherwise. A bargain-priced app that shows off the glory of the iPad’s Retina Display screen – and is genuinely useful into the bargain.
Sky Sports for iPad
Turns tedious, dull-looking Google Reader RSS feeds into beautiful magazines to peruse at your leisure on your iPad or Android tablet. Your subscriptions sync across all your devices, and you can read offline if you don’t have mobile data.
