SteadyCam Pro app takes the wobble out of iPhone videos

Shaking all over? Good on the dancefloor, not so good when you're trying to capture the scenery on your morning jog

The iPhone 4 video camera gives impressive results – but our shaky human hands can render the results a bit bumpily. The whizz kids at Midnox have released SteadyCam Pro – free to trial and £1.79 to buy on the App Store – that uses advanced signal processing algorithms to correct for rolling shutter shot distortion. So, essentially, it makes the video less shaky and is well worth the cost.

The video below shows just how well it works. So if you’ve got an iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1 or later and don’t want your videos to look like they were shot from a trampoline, this is the app for you.
