Microsoft’s gearing up for a Kinect blitz in the run up to Christmas with a stream of titles set to hit the Xbox 360 motion controller with Kinect Star Wars leading the charge.
The bumper line-up is about to show at the Gamescom exhibition in Germany with the chance for fans to swat stormtroopers while playing as the fearsome Rancor from Return of the Jedi.
Before that reaches the shops there’s The Gunslinger in September – a tongue-in-cheek western where you puppeteer a skeletal cowboy. In October, it’ll joined by the superhero fighting game PowerUp Heroes, the self-explanatory Kinectimals Now with Bears! and sequels to Kinect Sports and Dance Central.
The following month there’s the crazy augmented reality offering Rabbids Alive & Kicking and Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2012. Finally there’s two games for kids in the pipeline – Sesame Street: Once upon a Monster and Kinect: Disneyland Adventures, which simulates a trip to the magic kingdom.
