Sony's next flagship Xperia phone, codenamed Odin, looks set to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with an almost equally large 1080p 5in display.
Specs purportedly of the new Sony flagship posted on the Phone Arena forums also hint at the inclusion of a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, the likes of which you only see on absolutely top-of-the-range handsets like the LG Optimus G, as well as 2GB of RAM and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
Also revealed is the news we may also see a Sony Xperia device with an even bigger 6in screen, which would make even the Galaxy Note 2 look a little small. Current speculation reveals the mystery phone/tablet will use the same internals as the Odin, making it just as impressive in terms of performance.
It's unlikely we will see either device before the end of 2012 so don't count on getting either one from Santa.
