You may remember back in May, Sony launched the Xperia GX in Japan – causing much jealousy in other countries. Now these photos of a similar handset, codenamed Hayabusa, have emerged on XperiaBlog – suggesting that we'll be able to get our hands on an international version of the GX at last.
So apart from a lack of physical buttons on its front, what else can we expect from the Hayabusa? Well if it’s the same as the GX – as expected – we’ll be getting a 13MP camera with full 1080p 30fps HDR video that will look great on the 4.6in 720p LCD screen. And with a 1.5GHz dual-core, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage it’ll compete with the best mobiles out there.
There’s no word on pricing or a release date but when we get more info you’ll be the first to know. Although from the look of the old Sony Ericsson logo, these photos must have been taken before the Sony-only branding was set in stone – so hopefully we’ll be seeing it soon.
