Sony pulls 2.40 PS3 update

Well, after months of waiting, Sony’s 2.40 update, the one rocking in–game XMB (Cross media Bar) and trophy support, has already been pull

Reports have been filtering in of consoles being bricked by the update, leaving punters with useless paperweights sitting under their TVs. Sony last night took the new firmware off of their website and said they were looking into the problem.

The Big S has said they will “work directly” with any customers whose PS3s are now less useful than HD–DVD players.
